https://www.facebook.com/GeorgetownLeague – they have a facebook page, entries usually open on the Friday beforehand (i.e. today), fill out the form and you’re in. Start list usually published on the Tuesday, turn up with a fiver, stick it in the box and ride.

I’ve just seen this, Mikey – I should have looked harder before I stuck something up in the ‘press bin’ section! There was a great bit last night when Rob was catching Steve on the return half and I was passing them on the way out, three FWCC riders in full flight. Don’t know how to take down the bit I’ve written, sorry!

Is there any mileage in promoting areas of the club that appear to be under represented? For example, subsidising race entries for younger riders/women’s races? I think anything that makes FWCC more visible is good so like the subsidised kit idea, also FWCC branded casual wear (hoodies, t shirts, etc.)
