ParticipantSame as last year, once we have agreed the route letโs ask along some other non-FWCC members. Think we had 4 or 5 last year.

ParticipantGalloway option. Both starting at Dalbeattie at 9.30am.
90 miles or 90 kilometres. Both on quiet roads with a bit of climbing.
Options of food at Kircudbright or Castle Douglas.
Easy drive from Ayrshire or camping options at Kippford or Sandyhills.

ParticipantI should manage it. It will make a change having a cycle without George.

ParticipantI wonโt be attending tonight but hope it goes well. I am happy to arrange the 90th year cycle in 2024 if there is support.

ParticipantHi Jim
If a proposed off road adventure comes off then I will need to focus a bit more on my gravel bike riding. I am less concerned with speed/racing so will probably come along and see how it goes.
I am away WC 25th but should be okay into October.
Cheers

ParticipantI have booked a table at 11.30 at BrewDog if anyone wants to come along for a food/beer or neither before the riders hit Glasgow.

ParticipantGeorge and I found a couple other sharp little buggers on the circuit. ๐ฅต
I might go to BrewDog on Ingram street for a pint and wander about. Le Col are based there.
Pubs open at 9 on a Sunday? ๐ค

ParticipantYes I will get train up. Iโd originally suggested a cycle up via crow road but that means leaving KA postcode ๐.
George Square appears to be the hub. Or Glasgow Green.

ParticipantGood day lads.
If anyone gets the chance of a day off the train to Stranraer and cycle back has 4 or 5 excellent options. About 20 new miles for me today.

Absolutely. We are cycling to Ayr from Troon, leaving Loans at 6.45am. Or meet you at Ayr railway station.
