Same as last year, once we have agreed the route letโ€™s ask along some other non-FWCC members. Think we had 4 or 5 last year.

Galloway option. Both starting at Dalbeattie at 9.30am.

90 miles or 90 kilometres. Both on quiet roads with a bit of climbing.

Options of food at Kircudbright or Castle Douglas.

Easy drive from Ayrshire or camping options at Kippford or Sandyhills.

Good luck with the weather. I am up north otherwise would have been interested.

I should manage it. It will make a change having a cycle without George.

I wonโ€™t be attending tonight but hope it goes well. I am happy to arrange the 90th year cycle in 2024 if there is support.

    Hi Jim

If a proposed off road adventure comes off then I will need to focus a bit more on my gravel bike riding. I am less concerned with speed/racing so will probably come along and see how it goes.

I am away WC 25th but should be okay into October.

    Cheers

I have booked a table at 11.30 at BrewDog if anyone wants to come along for a food/beer or neither before the riders hit Glasgow.

George and I found a couple other sharp little buggers on the circuit. ๐Ÿฅต

I might go to BrewDog on Ingram street for a pint and wander about. Le Col are based there.

Pubs open at 9 on a Sunday? ๐Ÿค”

Yes I will get train up. Iโ€™d originally suggested a cycle up via crow road but that means leaving KA postcode ๐Ÿ˜ž.

George Square appears to be the hub. Or Glasgow Green.

    Good day lads.

If anyone gets the chance of a day off the train to Stranraer and cycle back has 4 or 5 excellent options. About 20 new miles for me today.

    Hi David

Absolutely. We are cycling to Ayr from Troon, leaving Loans at 6.45am. Or meet you at Ayr railway station.
