    CTT Classic Series Round 4 – Loch Ken TT – Results

    3 FWCC riders took part, some taking prizes –

    Allan Duncan – 1’04’27” – 3rd FWCC rider
    Gordon Graham – 1’02’38” – 3rd Vet Handicap(?)
    Darren Kean – 1’02’37” – 3rd Men

    Fastest overall on the day – Sandy Taylor – GTR – 57’20”
    Gordon, going by Strava, I made up 10seconds on you over the last 4.18miles to the finish line. I’ll call that well paced on my part!

    A big thank you to Alan Mccall for sorting out my new fork, it survived the ‘The Cheese Grater’ so a job well done.

    4 FWCC riders feature on the start sheet for this Sunday’s race – #16 Steven Donaldson, #33 Allan Duncan, #62 Martin Shields & #86 Rob Graham.

    Good to see a large field of 108 riders. Let us know how you get on lads!

    CTT Classic Series Round 4 – Loch Ken TT

    3 FWCC riders are on the start sheet for this race taking place on Sunday 8th May – Allan Duncan, Gordon Graham and Darren Kean. With the event being run over a rolling 26.2mile course around Loch Ken.

    Now usually I check out the names starting 1 & 2mins before and after me however, on this occasion the rider starting 7 minutes after me is the one I am worried about most, John Archibald…. The current course record sits at 52’41” 29.84mph, assuming John is on form to beat this I’ll need to average +26.5mph to keep him from passing – sounds EASY!!!!

    Oh and I still don’t have a new fork for the P2 yet.

    Having last raced an Open Event in May 2017, I have entered the following for this Sunday, 6th March.
