Rothesay Weekend of Cycling

The first event at the Rothesay Weekend of Cycling 2021 was the Serpentine Hill Climb sponsored by Fyne Homes. The fastest FWCC rider up the hill was Sean Barron recording 2 minutes 28 seconds for 33rd position – somewhat unkindly the results sheet records his speed as 0mph, it looked a bit faster than that. Sunday Run – January 12th 2020

Hello. I can be edited! The nine riders at the Cross this morning could have easily mistaken today's run for 2020's edition of Liege-Bastogne-Liege, with tight bumpy roads, steep ramps and driving rain. There was also a nice bit of wind to make sure we got the full classics experience.

Sunday Run

It was six hardy souls that gathered at Irvine Cross this for this weeks Sunday Run. With the cold front gripping the West Coast and a Gravel Splinter Group heading to Whitelee for the morning, big numbers couldn't be expected.
